Features
- Sign up and login flow (saved username on the login screen).
- Chats tab: conversation list with search, unread counter, and “add new chat/user”.
- Chat screen: send and receive messages, unread handling and automatic scrolling to the first unread message when applicable.
- Keys tab: import keys from a file, rename keys, delete keys, and select a key per conversation (or send without a key).
- Profile tab: manage main user and temporal users, switch active user, and remove temporal users.
- Push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (requests notification permission on Android 13+ and suppresses notifications when the conversation is open).
Security / privacy notes
- Passwords are stored as salted SHA-256 hashes.
- Imported keys are stored encrypted locally.
- Messages can be encrypted per conversation when a key is selected.
- Messages are only stored locally.
Requirements
- Android 11+ (minSdk 30).
Installation
- Download the APK from Assets.
- Install it on your device (you may need to allow “unknown sources”).
