Scope

This release closes hardening work delivered in PR #23.

Included

  • Telemetry transport live preflight command (make check-telemetry-transport) and optional startup gate (TELEMETRY_TRANSPORT_PREFLIGHT_ON_START).
  • Regression coverage for telemetry preflight command and startup behavior.
  • Optional release-check integration for transport preflight (RUN_TELEMETRY_TRANSPORT_PREFLIGHT=1).
  • Bundling reliability hardening: avoid unnecessary network-dependent OpenCV headless reinstall when cv2 is healthy.

Validation

  • make demo
  • make release-check
  • Evidence includes support-bundle artifact and cloud recovery smoke verification in output/release/evidence_pack_*.
