Warp Mobile Android 1.0.0-rc1

First public release candidate — signed APK for Android 12+ (API 31+) flagships.

Highlights

  • Engine + Wave 6–8: PTY, Vulkan terminal, Blocks, Termux (zsh / GNU coreutils / APT)
  • SSH remote sessions with host-key verification
  • BYOK AI (Haiku ghost-text + Sonnet agent)
  • Security hardening, MCP tools, split panes, local skills
  • 805 automated tests (642 Kotlin + 163 Rust)
  • AGPL-3.0-only

This is an engine preview, not full Warp Desktop chrome (sidebar / block cards / agent-first UX = M7+).

Install

  1. Download warp-mobile-1.0.0-rc1.apk
  2. Sideload (Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps)
  3. Optional: report soak feedback on #32

Tested: Galaxy S24 Ultra / Pixel 7+ class (Adreno 730+, API 33+)
Minimum: API 31 + Adreno 6xx
