v1.5.0

AI, overhauled

  • Direct-API (BYOK) chat for Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, and Ollama — alongside the existing CLI-tool support
  • 6 selectable chat modes, a new widget-shaped AI dashboard, and image/text-file chat attachments
  • "Generate Context" button writes a reusable project overview that's automatically included in every future chat
  • Skills & Automations: define reusable AI personas (Skills) and bind them to triggers — manual, scheduled, or event-based — that can create notes/todos, commit to git, or run project scripts. Confirm-before-execute by default, works even while the app sits in the tray. Skills can be used directly in live chat, and can even be auto-generated by asking the AI to review your own conversation history.
  • Auto-detects and offers to configure Claude Code CLI on first launch
  • "Login with Claude" button — Pro/Max/Team subscribers can authenticate without an API key
  • Fixed AI messages sometimes appearing duplicated, and responses now render as real formatted markdown instead of raw asterisks/dashes

Obsidian vault sync

  • One-way sync of your notes into an Obsidian vault as markdown files with YAML frontmatter, organized by project
  • Renaming a note updates its vault file in place — no duplicates
  • New "Obsidian" section in Settings with a vault picker and a "Sync Now" backfill button

New "Patterns" page — your work habits, visible

  • Commit streaks, commit rhythm by hour/day, todo completion rate, note-taking rhythm, and which projects are getting attention vs. going quiet — all computed locally from your own activity history

Proactive suggestions

  • A "Suggestions" card on the Dashboard nudges you about things worth knowing — a commit streak about to break, overdue todos, a project gone quiet, a growing high-priority backlog
  • Dismissable per-item with a 3-day snooze

Configurable AI Dashboard

  • Show/hide and reorder the AI Dashboard's widgets via a new "Customize" mode — drag to reorder, click to hide, persists across restarts

Also

  • Ideas moved out of the permanent sidebar onto the Projects topbar (still reachable via Ctrl+K)
  • A small Ctrl+K easter egg
