PC Control Telegram Bot [PC-bot]

A simple Telegram bot to control your Windows PC remotely through Telegram commands.

⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNINGS

Access Permission Warning

  • Bot requires Administrator privileges to execute system commands
  • Do NOT place scripts in system directories (like C:\Windows, C:\Program Files)
  • Do NOT run scripts from directories requiring special permissions
  • Recommended: Place scripts in user directories (e.g., D:\script)

Commands

  • /start - Start the bot and show command menu
  • /sd or /shutdown - Shutdown the computer
  • /rs or /restart - Restart the computer
  • /sl or /sleep - Put the computer to sleep

Installation

  1. Install Python 3.7 or higher
  2. Install required libraries: 
    pip install python-telegram-bot
  3. Create a Telegram bot via @BotFather and get the token
  4. Update BOT_TOKEN in PC-bot.py
  5. IMPORTANT: Place scripts in a directory that doesn't require special permissions

Running the Bot

Direct Run

python PC-bot.py

Run as Windows Service

  1. Run create_service.bat as Administrator

  2. Service will start automatically with Windows

Service Configuration

  • Service Name: PCBotService2
  • Display Name: PC Control Bot Service 2
  • Description: Telegram bot service for controlling PC
  • Auto-start with Windows
