Net Parser v0.1.0-alpha
This is the initial pre-release version of the FDB Parser utility that focuses on converting .fdb files to raw text format to read/parse it later to other formats.
Features
- Decode .fdb files to plain text
- Handle proper character encoding (Windows-1251)
- Preserve file structure with tags
- Process hex-encoded content
- Extract question data with titles, options, and answers
Important
The encodings handling is still fucked up sometimes. Focus on this later.

# Build the project

# Convert an FDB file to text
node dist/converters/fdb-to-txt.js path/to/file.fdb output.txt
Roadmap
- .fdb -> .txt
- .txt encoding health check & sanitizer utility
- .fdb to .md -> .pdf; mapping pics dir
- .fdb -> .json
Current issues
- Some tags aren't parsed -
tv_d,tv_p,tv_iand groups. I know the structure, but have no clue of those tags meaning. Very annoying tbh, will ignore for now. - The "Deleted!" tasks aren't handled, which raises the amount of tasks that needs to be studied. Need to convert .fdb to .txt using Editor, then use sanitizer utility to fix encodings and then do export to .json without those deleted tasks
- images in pics/ need normalization (.JPG/.jpg & encodings sanitizing)
