The Hermes Standard Companion (FELIX) is a Raspberry Pi 5 preloaded with Multiplug and MultiPlug.Ext.Hermes software for use to integrate with OEM SMT Machines or Machines running a PLC to support IPC-HERMES-9852.

This product requires software integration to a PLC or third party system.
We use the REST API to update Inbound (from the Machine) SMEMA states and Raw Network sockets to send Outbound (to the machine) SMEMA states changes using bespoke and unique messages defined by the User. We can also use the REST API to update Board Record Data and to get the initial SMEMA states on software start-up/initialisation.

The Adaptor's main MultiPlug extension is MultiPlug.Ext.Hermes and it has it's own Support pages:
- You will need the License key, which can be found as the UUID on the page
/extensions/multiplug.ext.raspi.config/hat/ - and the Device ID which can be found on the page

The Adaptor's platform software is MultiPlug and it has it's own Support pages:
Recipes are the configurations for the individual MultiPlug Extensions which builds up the software solution of the Adaptor. They can be downloaded from a MultiPlug instance to keep as a backup or a golden recipe for other installations. Recipes can then be sideloaded (restored) using the same process. The Extension Multiplug.Ext.Recipe.File provides this functionality. Quick start Recipes are available to download below.
