Features: safe ZIP inspection; manifest, reference, locale and icon checks; per-finding remediation guidance; release-readiness summary; manifest and permissions review; compare two saved JSON reports; drag-and-drop; HTML/JSON/TXT export.

Run: download ExtensionReleaseGuard.exe and double-click. No Python required. Windows only.

Limitations: static inspection only; a clean result does not mean an extension is safe or Chrome Web Store compliant; not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. The executable is unsigned, so SmartScreen may warn.

Verified: 274 automated tests pass.
