Worktree 1.1.1

@InfamousVague InfamousVague released this 27 May 17:41

What's new

  • fetchIfStale auto-fetch — Halo's expanded card now auto-fetches the current repo on hover (throttled to once per 30s). Pairs with Halo 1.0.47's recent-branches grid.

Worktree v1.1.0

@InfamousVague InfamousVague released this 27 May 16:40

Full feature parity in Halo. Worktree's tray popover now has a peer in the Halo Dynamic Island — hover the notch, see every branch, worktree, and saved project, click any of them to act, all without opening Worktree.app's popover.

Rich state ↔ Halo

  • Publishes complete repo state to the shared live-activity store: ahead/behind/dirty counts, remote branches, worktrees list, saved projects, pin status, last error
  • Halo's expanded WorktreeCard renders the lot in a scrollable card with a bookmark toggle in the header and a follow-focus banner when pinned

Command channel

  • Halo writes user actions to worktree.commands.json; Worktree subscribes via distributed notification + 1Hz fallback poll
  • Supported: switch branch, create branch, fetch, pull, checkout remote, save/unsave, switch to saved, return to focus, remove from saved, add worktree, open in Finder
  • UUID-tracked dedup means stale-read replays never double-execute

Compatibility

  • Older Halo releases keep working — new fields are additive and all default to safe empty values
  • Standalone Worktree popover is unchanged

Notarized + stapled.

Worktree v1.0.2

@InfamousVague InfamousVague released this 27 May 03:22

Fixes a build-pipeline bug where the Info.plist version was hardcoded to 0.1.3 — every release back to 1.0.0 shipped a .app that reported itself as 0.1.3 internally, so the launcher's OTA-update check thought you were always up to date. Switching the plist to $(MARKETING_VERSION) / $(CURRENT_PROJECT_VERSION) placeholders fixes it. Also brings forward the editor-focus priority boost from 1.0.1 (Worktree's island pill outranks Espresso for 2.5s when you newly focus an editor).

Worktree v1.0.1

@InfamousVague InfamousVague released this 27 May 03:17

Worktree's island slot briefly outranks Espresso for 2.5s when the user newly focuses an editor — flashes "you're in this repo / branch" before higher-priority activities reclaim the slot. Powered by a per-id focus boost that decays after the configured window. Wire is via a one-shot NSWorkspace focus observer on the WorktreeStore.

notarization ticket stapled to the app so it opens on any Mac
