1.8.1 (2026-10-05)

🩹 What's new in v1.8.1

A small patch on top of 1.8.0. It fixes a menu you could not scroll and keeps beta users up to date.

🐛 Fixes

  • Long menus scroll again. In a track's right-click menu, the "Add to playlist" list closed as soon as you scrolled it, so you could not reach the playlists further down. Scrolling inside a menu now keeps it open. Scrolling the page still closes it. (#795)
  • The beta channel now gets stable releases too. If you opted into betas, the updater used to stay on the last beta even after a newer stable version was out. It now offers whichever is newer, the latest beta or the latest stable. (#793)
  • Clearer logs for motion covers. When an album's animated cover is one you set by hand, the diagnostic log now says so. Before, nothing was logged, and the cover looked as if a plugin had supplied it. (#797)
