Evoke v0.2.5 (Beta 1)
Evoke Beta 1
Evoke v0.2.5 continues the existing Beta 1 release under the Evoke product name. The release package, PostgreSQL extension surface, SQL examples, runtime service wording, model contract, and downloadable artifacts now use Evoke naming.
Exact BM25 remains the default. Sparse Semantic Retrieval (SSR) is available in the same index with the bundled frozen milestone model and the Evoke runtime APIs.
Downloads
- Linux x86-64 extension ZIPs for PostgreSQL 17 and 18.
- PostgreSQL 18 Linux x86-64 Docker archive for offline loading.
- SHA-256 checksum files for every archive.
Packages and the Docker archive include ONNX Runtime 1.29.0 and the frozen default model. Model weights do not require a separate checkout when using these release artifacts.

Verification
Release CI and the release dry run both passed on September 25, 2026. The dry run rebuilt and verified PostgreSQL 17/18 release ZIPs and the PostgreSQL 18 Docker archive from the updated Evoke model metadata.
