Removed

• MaxBounds and maxBoundsByPV from PlutusLedgerApi.Common.Versions,
  replaced by the constants maxHeaderSize and maxConstrFields.

Changed

• The limits on constant type header size (32) and constr field count (1024)
  enforced when deserialising scripts now apply at every protocol version, rather
  than only from protocol version 11. It has been verified that no script ever
  submitted on-chain exceeds these limits, so this does not change the behaviour
  of any existing script.

plutus-tx

plutus-tx-plugin

Fixed

• Fix compilation of caseData and caseInteger when GHC floats branch lists
  into named bindings, including V4 ProposalProcedure and Committee decoders.

• Fix sum-type decoding when targeting Plutus Core 1.1.0 by avoiding unsupported
  case expressions on Data.

plutus-executables

Added

• plutus-executables is now published to CHaP by the release process, so uplc, plc, pir and plutus can be installed with cabal install plutus-executables instead of being built from a checkout. The package metadata was tidied up for distribution (description, autogen-modules for Paths_plutus_executables, base bounds on the test suites).

• Releases now ship prebuilt uplc, plc, pir and plutus executables for macOS Apple Silicon, in addition to the static Linux x86_64 binaries. They are built by Hydra and fetched from the cache by the release script.

plutus-metatheory

Added

• Adds casing on data to the CEK implementation in the metatheory.
