Due to time constraints, we were unable to publish our extension onto the Chrome Web Store. To install this extension, follow the following steps:
-
Install Google Chrome
- You will need to use Google Chrome to install this extension. This extension should work on any Chromium-based browser, but to make things easier, PLEASE USE GOOGLE CHROME!
-
Download repository
- You will need to download the source code for our extension. To do that...
- Go to the main "Code" tab of the repository.
- Click the green "<> Code" drop-down menu.
- In the drop-down menu, click "Download ZIP". A .zip file of the repository will be downloaded.
- The name should be something akin to (like) "Error404-main"
- You will need to download the source code for our extension. To do that...
-
Extract the .zip file
- Extract the contents of the .zip file using your favorite unzipping tool. The folder should now be available!
NOTE: If you're leaving the default location in when you are extracting, you may accidentally create a folder with the same name, like this:
C:\Users\<Your Username Here>\Downloads\Error404-main\Error404-main<- That last folder would be the actual extracted folder- This may depend on what unzipping tool you use, but make sure for later steps that you use the folder that actually gets extracted.
-
Go to Chrome Extensions page
- Go to this link in Google Chrome: chrome://extensions/
-
Enable Developer mode
- In the top right of the Extensions page, you should see a switch for "Developer mode".
- Turn that on by clicking on it.
- You should now see three rounded buttons at the top left of the page.
-
Load downloaded directory
- In Extensions page, click "Load unpacked" button on the top left.
- Find where you extracted the repository folder.
- Click the folder itself, then click the "Select Folder" button.
- You should now see "Azul Connect" added as an extension in your Chrome Extensions!
At this point, you may have to click the Extensions icon in the top bar in your browser to use the Azul Connect extension.
