• Added automatic list continuation in notes:
  • Start a line with - or 1. and press Enter to open the next item
  ◦ Numbering increments automatically ( 9. rolls over to 10. )
  ◦ Indentation and spacing are carried over
  ◦ Pressing Enter on an item you left empty removes the marker and ends the list
  ◦ Pressing Enter in the middle of an item splits it into a new item

Fixed

• Notes restored onto a monitor that is no longer connected are pulled back onto the desktop. Previously they were invisible and unreachable, since notes have no taskbar or Alt+Tab entry.
• Save failures are reported instead of being silently swallowed. Saving keeps retrying, and closing a note whose save is still failing now asks first instead of discarding the text.
• Notes that cannot be read are moved aside to a Corrupted folder and reported once at startup, instead of quietly disappearing.
• Soft line breaks ( Shift+Enter ) are no longer lost when a note is reopened.
• Fixed "Check for updates" always reporting a failure.
• Fixed the app not being able to start in a second Windows user session.
• Backups are now capped at 50 by default, and always stored under the notes folder. Opening a .qnote from somewhere else no longer creates a stray Backups folder next to it.
• The backup restore list now sorts by actual deletion time instead of by the formatted date text, so the order is correct across months.
• Reduced disk writes while typing in notes that contain images.

Installer

• The file association, the New -> Quick Note entry and the startup entry are now registered machine-wide. Previously, installing while elevating with a different administrator account wrote them into that account's profile, so they never appeared for the user who actually installed the app.
• Upgrading removes the old per-user startup entry, so the app no longer launches twice at logon.
