Memory Mastery 2.2.0
Three portable local-memory skills, now maintained at Island Development Crew with the original Git history and MIT attribution preserved.
- Forge Genesis: fresh, owner-approved setup with deny-by-default access.
- Forge Recall: inventory, conservative migration, temporal review and explicit compilation.
- Forge Hivemind: a local principal registry, scoped evidence and source-aware review.
Each standalone ZIP includes its own SKILL.md, standard-library Python helper, documentation, synthetic example and MIT license. No sibling package, credentials or network access is required for the example. The collection ZIP also includes the test suite.
What changed
Versioned metadata and content hashes; scope/state/time filtering before text emission; explicit compilation preparation and acceptance; non-escalating declared authority and retention; bounded snapshots; conservative dry-run migration; and content-free literal residue audits across declared local tiers. Automatic cloud export, credential-triggered installation and unverified consensus claims are retired in favor of explicit adapters and inspectable limits.
Research is documented using primary sources. Their benchmarks were not reproduced and no research-derived performance advantage is claimed.

A non-author, same-model-family review used a fresh detached clone of this exact commit: 48 tests, 21 wrapper cases across all 14 shell entrypoints, and six sample commands across all three packages passed. Two independently discovered defects were watched failing before their fixes: excessive repeated lineage traversal and acceptance of unrelated compilation outputs. Boundary and revocation controls passed after the fixes.
Runtime evidence is Darwin arm64, Python 3.14.7 and Bash 3.2.57. Python 3.10 syntax was checked; its runtime, Windows and Linux were not independently exercised. No GitHub CI result is claimed for this release.
This accepts local structural contracts and standalone packaging—not writer authentication, host isolation, semantic truth, resistance to behavioral poisoning, remote erasure, or cross-model/security 2.5 certification. Those remain separate work.
The accompanying SHA256SUMS checks file integrity; it is not a cryptographic author signature. The annotated tag is unsigned. Download only from the intended repository and inspect the skill before granting tools or access.
