What's Changed

Fix: Auto-Update Install & Restart

Fixed the "Install & Restart" button not working after downloading an update:

  • Problem: Clicking "Install & Restart" closed the app but didn't install the update or restart
  • Cause: Silent MSI install mode failed on Windows, and auto-launch caused MSI error 2753
  • Solution: Changed to show MSI installer UI for reliable installation

Note: After clicking "Install & Restart", the MSI installer will appear. Once installation completes, you'll need to manually start the app (the installer may not auto-launch it).

Technical Details

  • Changed quitAndInstall(true, true) to quitAndInstall(false, false)
  • Shows MSI installer UI for proper UAC elevation and reliable installation
  • Disabled auto-launch after install to prevent MSI error 2753
