AdContainerView 0.5.0 migrates the library to Google Mobile Ads Next-Gen SDK 1.3.1.

Highlights

  • Updated banner loading, callbacks, lifecycle cleanup, and adaptive sizing for Next-Gen.
  • Raised compatibility to minSdk 24 and compileSdk 35 while preserving Kotlin 1.9 consumers.
  • Modernized the Gradle and Maven Central publishing setup.
  • Refreshed the minimal Material 3 sample and migration documentation.

Migration notes

Legacy play-services-ads must not be included. Next-Gen uses InitializationConfig for the app ID and replaces the legacy request/listener APIs. See the README migration table for the complete API mapping.
