The first release of CLIProxyAPI-Rust: one small binary that turns your Claude, ChatGPT (Codex) and Gemini accounts into OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini compatible APIs, with a dashboard built in.

Highlights

  • Every client format: OpenAI Chat Completions, OpenAI Responses (HTTP and WebSocket), Anthropic Messages and Gemini.
  • Any model from any tool: GPT in Claude Code, Claude in Codex, Gemini behind the OpenAI SDK. Requests that are already in the provider's format pass through untouched.
  • Native Codex WebSockets: sessions are relayed to ChatGPT's own WebSocket upstream.
  • Accounts: Claude and ChatGPT sign-in, API keys for Claude, OpenAI and Gemini, and any OpenAI-compatible upstream (OpenRouter, Ollama, …).
  • Routing: round-robin or fill-first, per-model cooldowns until the provider's reset time, failover to the next account, automatic token refresh.
  • Drop-in for CLIProxyAPI users: existing logins in ~/.cli-proxy-api work on first start.

Install

Download the archive for your platform below, extract it and run:

./cliproxyapi-rust

Then open http://127.0.0.1:8317 and sign in with Claude or ChatGPT.

The binaries are not code-signed. If macOS refuses to open it, run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine cliproxyapi-rust once.

Good to know

This is an early release. If something doesn't work with your account, please open an issue with the error shown in the dashboard. Usage statistics are kept in memory and reset on restart. See the README for configuration, endpoints and what's different from CLIProxyAPI.
