bloxscout-mcp v0.1.0 — install shim

Choose a tag to compare

@IvanKuria IvanKuria released this 21 May 20:34

First release of the bloxscout-mcp shim package on npm.

Why this exists

The main bloxscout npm package ships two bins (bloxscout for the CLI, bloxscout-mcp for the MCP server). But npx resolves bin names through package names — so npx -y bloxscout-mcp was silently 404'ing for every new user because no package by that name existed on the registry.

This thin shim package (5 lines of code + a package.json) depends on bloxscout and re-exports its MCP entrypoint, making the documented install command actually work end-to-end.

Install

claude mcp add bloxscout -- npx -y bloxscout-mcp

That's the whole change — same MCP server, same tools, but the install path now resolves on a clean machine.
