Install with pnpm add -g pxtk-cli@0.2.1, then run pxtk --help.

This release provides the standalone pxtk command and 21 local MCP tools. It adds the PXCLI icon to the README and updates installation instructions. GitHub Packages provides @jdeffner/pxtk-cli@0.2.1.

Compilation, typecheck, lint, all 194 tests, and installed-package checks pass. The package checks cover research, guarded writers, native image support, MCP, and failure behavior without a Toolkit checkout.

pxtk 0.2.0

Install with pnpm add -g @px-lsp/cli@0.2.0, or download the attached archive. Node 22.22.2 or newer is required.

This release adds translation synchronization, symbol rename, definition edits, ordered mod conflict reports, exact vanilla imports, local release staging and migration catalog, route and preview commands. CLI and MCP expose the same workflows, with 21 MCP tools. Writers preview changes and require matching tokens before applying them.

The GitHub Packages mirror is @jdeffner/cli@0.2.0. See the installation guide for registry authentication and all installation options.

Validation: all 194 tests, compile, typecheck, lint and installed-package checks pass on Windows and Ubuntu with Node 22.22.2 and 24. Both npm and GitHub mirror tarballs passed isolated installation checks locally.

Static checks do not establish gameplay behavior. Tiger 1.19.0 rejects CK3 1.20.0.3 as unsupported; compatible deep validation and exact old-build migration preparation remain unverified. Migration commands prepare plans but do not apply them. See the wiki for configuration, usage and limits.

pxtk 0.1.0

Initial standalone prerelease of pxtk, with 15 CLI and local MCP operations for Paradox mod research, source reading, validation, mod preparation and saved-playset launch.

Download px-lsp-cli-0.1.0.tgz, then install it with:

Requires Node 22.22.2 or newer. The package includes the language server, game-profile data and licenses. Sharp installs as a runtime dependency, so installation needs registry access. Configure the game installation and Tiger separately. This release is distributed on GitHub.

The audit fixed writer-root redirection, dropped MCP arguments, duplicate-definition detection, EXIF output sizing, log-read races and JSON metadata output. GitHub CI passed compilation, typecheck, lint, all 115 tests and the isolated installed-package exercise on Windows and Ubuntu with Node 22.22.2 and 24. Linux launch tests use a private process namespace. On a normal Linux host, an unreadable same-user process can cause process_probe_failed; the CLI preserves that refusal to prevent duplicate game startup.

Real CK3 research and editing checks passed on 1.20.0.3. Tiger 1.19.0 explicitly rejects that newer game, so deep validation correctly remains incomplete and refuses baselines. Complete baseline behavior has deterministic fixture coverage. Gameplay, real Victoria 3/EU5 use and fresh Paradox-game startup were not tested in this audit. DDS output has one mip level; macOS game startup is unsupported.
