This is the first public release of PlateScanApp, a mobile Android application for automatic license plate recognition using artificial intelligence and on-device OCR.

✨ Features

• Login via Google or Email/Password (Firebase Authentication)
• Capture vehicle images with CameraX and detect license plates using a YOLOv5 model hosted on Render
• Automatically extract plate number with on-device OCR using ML Kit
• Save scan data to Firebase Firestore, including:
  • Full plate number
  • Original and cropped image
  • Date and time
  • Location metadata
  • ...
• View scan history with search functionality
• Generate custom reports linked to scanned plates
• Display statistics using MPAndroidChart (daily/monthly)
• Edit user profile
