What is included
Partuno is now available as a public, Apache-2.0 licensed repository for local-first electronic component research and sourcing workflows through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
This release includes:
- Native MCP server support for local ChatGPT and other MCP clients.
- DigiKey and Mouser research, comparison, and recommendation workflows.
- Read-only search, parametric filtering, distributor comparison, and normalized requirement evaluation.
- Safe previews and explicit confirmation boundaries for account-changing workflows.
- Backward-compatible Custom GPT Action endpoints, including
/action-openapi.json. - Offline tests, CI on Python 3.12 and 3.13, secret scanning, dependency monitoring, and CodeQL analysis.
- Contributor, security, conduct, third-party notice, and Apache License documentation.
Validation
The public snapshot passed:
- 159 tests passed, 4 skipped.
- Python compilation checks.
- Gitleaks scan with 0 findings.
- Apache License 2.0 integrity verification.
- Demo asset integrity and excluded-private-document reference checks.
Important scope note
The included demo uses representative synthetic output. Provider credentials, live account data, and production deployment configuration are not included. Review README.md, MCP_SETUP.md, and SECURITY.md before connecting live provider accounts.
