In this update, Forkify adds functionality for improved navigation and a more immersive user experience. By enabling hash-based navigation and including a loading spinner, the app now feels more dynamic and interactive.

  1. Hash-Based Recipe Rendering

    • Recipes now load and render based on their unique ID in the URL hash. This improvement enables users to directly link to specific recipes or navigate to different recipes without a full page reload.
    • The app listens for URL hashchange events and automatically updates the Recipe View, making navigation smoother and more responsive.

  2. Animated Loading Spinner

    • A new animated spinner has been added to the site, displaying while data is loading. This feature enhances user experience, adding realism by indicating when a recipe or ingredient data is being fetched.
    • The spinner provides a polished look and improves engagement, especially when loading large recipes.
