New

  • User Accounts in Control Panel: the name the Start menu greets you with and the picture it shows. Change Picture opens the file dialog (PNG, JPEG or BMP; the picture is cropped to a square), Default Picture goes back to the shell's tile. The Windows XP, Vista and 7 Start panels draw both. Your logon name is untouched. Kept in ~/.w2k/account.
  • Media keys: the keyboard's volume up, down and mute keys move the speaker by the clock; play and stop go to whatever is playing (playerctl if installed, otherwise the first MPRIS player on the session bus).

Fixed

  • The Start menu's Settings entries wore stand-in icons; Display Properties, Taskbar and Start Menu and Folder Options now carry the Control Panel's own.

  • tools/fetch-themes.sh (from 1.18.3) fetches the XP, Vista and 7 themes for a copy put in with make install.
