Device Manager. A contributed program, w2kdevmgmt, shows the machine's hardware from sysfs by category (bridges and buses, USB, disks, processors, network, input, sound, display, serial, batteries, sensors), with properties per device, driver details, enable/disable through a modprobe blacklist, and DKMS driver install, all privileged steps going through pkexec. It is in Programs › Accessories › System Tools and in the Control Panel. Thanks to HalanoSiblee for the contribution.

Invisible pointer on some X servers. If a server shows the Windows 2000 ARGB cursors as nothing (reported on Fedora), Mouse Properties has a new box, "Use the Windows 2000 pointers"; turning it off keeps the X server's own pointers. The same can be forced with W2K_CURSORS=x11 in the environment while the cause is chased.

Install or update with the same command as always:

curl -sL jacktulli.github.io/w2k | sh

It builds from source, so both changes are included; a running desktop restarts in place. w2kwm --version reports 1.4.0. The tarball is a prebuilt /usr/local tree for trying the desktop; its w2kdm has no PAM.
