Restaurant Menu System v1.0

Initial working implementation with:

Features:

  • MySQL database with 8 sample menu items
  • Flask backend API with menu endpoints
  • Responsive frontend with category filtering
  • Professional menu display interface

What Works:

  • Database: menu_items table with full sample data
  • Backend: GET /api/menu and GET /api/menu/
  • Frontend: Category filtering, responsive design
  • Full stack integration working

For Team Setup:

  • Follow database setup guide in docs/
  • Backend runs on localhost:5000
  • Frontend displays menu from database

This is a stable milestone for the capstone project.
