User Auth

Sign Up

• As an unregistered user, I want to create an account using the website’s sign-up form
  • When I’m on the sign up page:
    • As an unregistered user, I want to create an account using the website’s sign-up form
    • In the sign-up form, I want to enter username, email, password, first name, last name
      • After submitting the form I should be redirected to the homepage so that I can begin using the website
  • If I enter invalid data on the sign up form:
    • The website should tell me what data is invalid
    • I want the data I entered to remain except the password
      • So that I can resubmit without having to fill out every field again

Log In

• As an unregistered user, I want to login to my existing account using the website’s login form
• In the login form, I want to enter
  • username/email
  • password
• When logged in, I should have transitioned into my account profile

Demo User

• As an unregistered user, I want to demo logged in, so that I can view all the images without going through the trouble of entering anything.

Log Out

• As a registered user, I want to log out of my existing account
• After logging out, I should transition to the home page.

User Profile Page

• As a logged in user clicking on my own profile I should be redirected to a page that shows:
  • My profile information includes:
    • My username
    • User Image
  • My stashes:
    • Should show all of stashes that I’ve created
      • Each stash should display its title
      • Clicking on any stash should take me to that stashes page
        • So that I can view all the images on that board *My Images: *Should show all posts that I've made

Stash Info

Stashes

• As a logged in user clicking on a stash link I should be navigated to that stashes page
  • I should see the display of the title of the board, the owner of the board, and all the images found on the board
  • I expect the stash to be in a grid like fashion and that clicking on any image should take me to that images page
    • So that I can view any image on any stash on the website
• As a logged in user clicking on creating a new stash link should open a page:
  • The page should have a form with a name field, description field, and a create button
    • After filling out name and description fields for my stash I should be able to create a new stash
      • Upon creating my stash I should be redirected to the my newly created stash page
  • If I enter invalid data on this create stash form
    • The website should tell me why the data is invalid and not allow me to create a new board until the data is correct
• As a logged in user if I wanted to update my stash
  • I could navigate to the stash page and press the edit button
    • A page would open where I would have the option of changing my name and description of the stash
  • I could navigate to my profile page and choose a board to edit by pressing that boards edit button
    • A page would open where I would have the option of changing my name and description of the stash
  • If i enter invalid data when trying to update
    • The website should tell me why the data is invalid and not allow me to submit the changes
• As a logged in user if I wanted to delete one of my stashes I would press the delete button on the stashes page

Images

• As a logged in user when clicking on an image I should be taken to the image’s page
  • The page should display:
    • The image I clicked
    • I should see an option to save the image to a stash that I have created
    • I should see the username of the user that posted the image and any comments about the post
• As a logged in user I should be able to create my own image
  • I want to be able to have an option to create labels, a title or a description for my image
  • Upon a successful upload I should be redirected to my newly created image page
  • Upon an unsuccessful upload:
    • The website should tell me what data is invalid
    • The data the is valid should remain on the page
• As a logged in user I should be able to update any of my images to change labels, title, and/or description
  • Upon successful upload I should be redirected to the images page
  • Upon an unsuccessful upload:
    • The website should tell me what data is invalid
    • The data the is valid should remain on the page
• As a logged in user I should be able to delete any of my images and see the updates reflected on the website
  • Upon an unsuccessful delete I should be presented with the reason why

Comments

• As a registered user, I want to comment on an image, so that I can talk about my thoughts on this image.
• If I were to type any invalid comments in the comment box,
  • I would expect there to be a red label detailing why it’s invalid.
  • I wish my “invalid” comments would still be there
    • so then I can correct it rather than starting all over.
• After successfully adding a comment on an image,
  • I’d expect my comment to appear among the list of comments of that image.
• After successfully deleting my comment,
  • I’d expect my comment to no longer be among the list of comments I deleted from.

Favorites

• As a registered user, I want to favorite and unfavorite an image, so that I can easily go back to it or find it again later.
• After favoriting an image,
  • I’d expect the image to be in my user profile listed as “My Favorites”.
• After unfavoriting an image,
  • I’d expect the image to no longer be in my user profile listed as “My Favorites”.

Search

• As a logged in user I should be able to search the website for images by their label
  • Upon successful search all images with the label searched should appear in a similar configuration to the home screen
  • Upon unsuccessful search I should see a message on screen telling me “No Images found with this label”
