  • The app is now called System Data Unpacked, Unpacked for short. "SysDataMenu" was a working name that stuck. The bundle identifier, the Homebrew cask (jarvis322/tap/sysdata) and the SysDataMenu command-line binary are unchanged, so Full Disk Access, settings, history and scripts carry over. brew upgrade swaps the old app for the new one.
  • The updater finds the app in a downloaded image by bundle identifier rather than by its own file name, and installs it under the new name. Versions up to 1.0.4 still look for SysDataMenu.app, so the image carries a hidden copy under that name for them; their next update after this one moves them to the new name.
  • The README says how to fix brew install stopping with "It seems there is already an App" after a disk-image install: --adopt.

Install

brew install --cask Jarvis322/tap/sysdata

or open SysDataMenu-1.0.5.dmg and drag the app to Applications. The zip is the same app for anyone scripting the download. Signed and notarized. Requires macOS 14 or later.
