  • Updating from 1.0.4 or earlier left the app hidden. The 1.0.5 image carries a hidden copy under the old name for updaters from before the rename, and those updaters copied the hidden flag along with it: the app relaunched, but no longer appeared in Applications, Launchpad or Spotlight, and once quit it looked like it would not open. The app now clears the flag on itself at launch. An install already hidden by 1.0.5 is replaced by a visible one on its next update. To fix one now: chflags nohidden /Applications/SysDataMenu.app.

Install

brew install --cask Jarvis322/tap/sysdata

or open SysDataMenu-1.0.6.dmg and drag the app to Applications. The zip is the same app for anyone scripting the download. Signed and notarized. Requires macOS 14 or later.
