I have an R36H Pro Max running dArkOS, and I used your repository to install the drivers for the internal Wi-Fi (which uses the Realtek RTL8188ETV chip). The internet works perfectly for downloading box art and updates (Station mode). However, I hit a roadblock when trying to activate the Hotspot function for local multiplayer gaming.
When attempting to manually activate the access point via the terminal using nmcli, the system returns the following error:
...device wlan0 not available because profile is not compatible with device (the device does not support Access Point mode).
Based on this behavior, it seems the current RTL8188ETV driver was compiled without active AP support for the console's architecture, preventing it from broadcasting a Wi-Fi signal.
I would like to know if you can confirm that this driver indeed lacks this active function for now, and if—in the future, when you have some spare time—there might be a possibility of recompiling the driver with AP Mode support (hostapd) enabled?
I know you do this out of pure dedication to the community, so this isn't a demand in any way; it's just a technical question to see if there's any future possibility for the internal chip, or if the standard path for Hotspot functionality will indeed be to acquire an external dongle via OTG.
