Privacy Policy for K-Flashcards

K-Flashcards respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles user information.

  1. Information We Collect

The app does not require users to create an account and does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos, or payment information.

The app may store the following information locally on the user’s device:

  • Google Sheets links entered by the user
  • Card box names
  • Flashcard content imported from Google Sheets
  • Study progress, review status, and goal settings
  • Notification settings
  1. Google Sheets Links and Flashcard Content

Users may enter a Google Sheets link to import flashcard content into the app. The app uses the link only to load the flashcard data selected by the user.

Users are responsible for managing the sharing settings of their own Google Sheets documents.

  1. Local Data Storage

Study progress, card box settings, imported flashcards, and goal settings are stored locally on the user’s device. This data is used only to provide the app’s flashcard, study planning, and review features.

  1. Notifications

The app may request permission to send study reminder notifications. Users can enable, disable, or change notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

  1. Data Sharing

The app does not sell user data. The app does not share user data with advertisers or data brokers.

  1. Third-Party Services

The app may connect to Google Sheets when the user provides a Google Sheets link. Use of Google Sheets is subject to Google’s own privacy policy and terms.

  1. Data Deletion

Users can delete card boxes and study data inside the app. Users may also remove the app from their device to delete locally stored app data.

  1. Children’s Privacy

The app is intended for general educational use. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

  1. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
