PokéSurvivors 3.0: Status effects, Traps and better Upgrades UI
Poke Survivors 3.0: Status effects and Traps
New
- New status effects: freeze, paralysis, sleep and confusion. Confused enemies attack each other; bosses resist them.
- New Psychic moves: Hypnosis (can put enemies to sleep) and Dream Eater (only hits sleeping enemies and heals you). Fuse them with a bond for better synergy
- New map traps: freeze, shock, sleep and confusion (they affect you too).
Changes
- Synergies: paralysis slows enemies and makes them take more Electric damage, burn reduces their damage, and Hex takes advantage of every status.
- Balance: Confusion, Water Gun, Rock Throw, Twister, Thunder Shock and Dragon Rage now hit harder.
- Improvements: the Pokémon picker is now large and touch-friendly, with sprites and generation and type filters, and always opens on your partner.
- Darkrai is immune to sleep.
- Balance: poison deals less damage to bosses (it used to melt them in seconds).
PokeSurvivors V2.0
Poke Survivors 2.0
The biggest update yet! The Tower, new bosses, treasure thieves and a smoother controller experience.
🗼 Tower Mode
Tower of Floors: climb 30 floors with escalating difficulty and a boss every 5 floors.
Rest floors: between floors, choose risk-and-reward cards. Take a powerful boost in exchange for a drawback, and build your run your way.
Golden Legendary cards: ultra-rare cards with huge buffs and no downside, including a 70% cooldown reduction, a defense boost, a second item slot, and a card that permanently raises your damage with every kill.
New pixel-art icons for every Tower card.
Choose your starting floor from the mode menu.
👑 New Bosses
Floor 25: Eternatus, a brutal mid-tower challenge.
Floor 30: Arceus, the final boss. Extremely hard, but beatable. When he drops below 25% health he goes all out, so watch out!
Defeat Arceus to earn an exclusive achievement and a unique profile title, plus big rewards.
💰 Treasure Thieves
Meowth and Gholdengo now show up with the same timing and odds as the original game.
They glow, and an on-screen alert with a compass points you to them. Catch them before they escape!
🎮 Controls & Menus
Consistent controller navigation across all menus. B / Circle goes back from every screen.
Fixed controls in the Upgrades screen that couldn’t be reached with a gamepad.
Menu Pokémon no longer get stuck on stone walls or spawn in odd places.
🔄 Auto-Update Notice
The game now checks for new versions and lets you download them in-game. Your progress is kept.

PokéSurvivors V1.2 Hotfix
V1.0.2 – Performance & Rift update
Performance
- Much faster world generation: new map chunks are created several times faster, so the game starts quicker and walking around no longer stutters.
- The ground now appears fully drawn from the very first frame when starting a run or opening the main menu (no more blank patches while it loads).
Rifts
- Falling inside a rift now plays the regular faint animation, just like the original game. There is no Game Over: after a moment the rift throws you out and you go back to the map with some health.
- Added the "The rift threw you out…" message, as in the original.
- After beating the legendary you now choose your Bond before leaving the rift, so you return to the map ready to play.
- Added the original victory messages when the legendary falls.
Combat
- Enemies that walk (non-flying) can now trigger traps, like in the original game: poison, sticky and explosive traps.
- Poisoned enemies now turn purple while the poison lasts, with bubbles and poison drops that "sweat" down their bodies.
Notes
- Update over the previous version (same signature). Your save data is kept.
- Android only. Original game by JPTER78 (code MIT, sprites CC BY-NC).
Español
V1.0.2 – Rendimiento y grietas
Rendimiento
🔧 V1.0.1 Hotfix — what's new
Gameplay
- Big chests: a new, rarer chest you open by standing next to it for 3.5 seconds, as in the original game. Small chests open just by touching them. Both burst into gold particles when opened.
- Death animations: each Pokémon's own faint animation now plays all the way through before the Game Over screen appears. (It was freezing on the first frame.)
- Healing springs dry up and disappear once used.
- Enemies can no longer cross dirt walls, including jumping enemies. Only flying Pokémon pass over them.
- Berries: fewer drops from tall grass, closer to the original game's rates.
Map
- Medium-sized lakes with irregular shores, instead of oversized or pool-shaped ones.
- Tall grass in natural patches, kept away from water, walls, rocks, chests, altars and traps.
- Trees, rocks, chests, altars and springs no longer overlap each other.
Main menu
- The background now uses the same map as a real run and changes biome every 30 seconds (forest → crystal cave → volcano), keeping the same layout with each biome's own look.
- The same 20 Pokémon as the original menu wander around, and they can't cross walls or walk on water/lava unless they're Water, Fire or Flying types.
- Only trap tiles appear in the background, as in the original.
Controls and interface
- Controller prompts now show the real button icons (Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo layouts).
- "A port made by JayElDragon" credit on the main menu, translated into all languages.
- Fixes to the Upgrades menu (focus, left/right cycling, Back button) and a clearer white focus outline.
- Small heart and shield icons above healing and shielding enemies.
- New healing-spring sprite and updated app icon.🎮 Pokémon Survivors v1.0.0 — the first Android release

🌍 Languages (11)
English · Español (España) · Español (Latinoamérica) · Français · Italiano · Português (Brasil) · Português (Portugal) · Русский · 日本語 · 中文(普通话)· 廣東話(粵語)
- Everything is translated: menus, settings, tutorials, level-up cards, moves and their descriptions, items, weather, missions, achievements, titles, gacha, toasts and in-game banners.
- Pokémon, move, type and item names use the official names in French, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin and Cantonese (Cantonese uses the official Traditional-Chinese names).

⚔️ Gameplay (faithful to the original)
- Starter test: answer a few questions, Mystery-Dungeon style, and get your personality-matched partner — or choose any starter yourself.
- Survive & level up: pick one of three upgrade cards each level — new moves, move upgrades, passives. Reroll or ban cards (upgradable).
- Move evolutions: every move can evolve into its stronger form.
- Bond: link several moves so they fire together (up to 4 at once).
- Held items: Leftovers, Choice Band/Scarf, Life Orb, Focus Sash, Shell Bell, Amulet Coin, Lucky Egg, Quick Claw, Rocky Helmet, Assault Vest — find a new one and choose whether to swap or keep the one you have.

- Altars, chests and traps across a procedurally varied world.
- Rifts: from about 1:15 into the run a rift can open every 30 seconds; step in to fight a legendary in a type-themed arena (18 arenas, one per type). Dying inside a rift only throws you out of the rift — your run continues.
- The Judgment of Arceus at minute 30 — an invincible Arceus hunts you while legendary guests drop in.
- Bosses, shinies, "thief" Pokémon carrying tickets and coins, and frenzied enemies.
Meta progression
- Gacha with ×1 and ×10 tickets, rarity tiers, shiny chance and at least one Very Rare Pokémon guaranteed on every ×10 pull; duplicates convert to coins.
- Permanent upgrades per Pokémon (Vitality, Strength, Stride, Reflexes, Shell, Synthesis, Magnet, Wisdom, Fortune, Repertoire, Crit, Reroll, Ban).
- Daily and weekly missions (reset at 00:00 Puerto Rico time; you may swap one daily mission per day).
- 130 achievements across Collection, Survival, Combat, Rifts, Legendaries and Missions, plus 23 titles.
- Trainer profile: name, favourite 3 Pokémon, equipped title, a trainer card, and a Records tab with your best runs.
- Pokédex for all regions, with shiny toggle.
🔧 Changes & balance in this release
Melee moves buffed
Melee moves were the weakest way to play, because you have to stand next to what you fight. All nine melee moves now deal more damage, reach slightly farther and grant a short burst of invincibility every time they swing (always less than the move's cooldown, so you are never permanently invulnerable):
| Move | Damage | Range | Invincibility per swing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tackle | 16 → 21 | 60 → 68 | 0.35 s → 0.40 s |
| Vine Whip | 19 → 25 | 85 → 90 | — → 0.22 s |
| Wing Attack | 17 → 22 | 73 → 78 | — → 0.24 s |
| Body Slam | 36 → 42 | 58 → 66 | — → 0.30 s |
| Bug Bite | 13 → 17 | 55 → 62 | — → 0.18 s |
| Karate Chop | 22 → 28 | 63 → 70 | — → 0.22 s |
| Lick | 14 → 18 | 60 → 66 | — → 0.20 s |
| Metal Claw | 18 → 24 | 63 → 70 | — → 0.22 s |
| Bite | 17 → 22 | 58 → 64 | — → 0.20 s |
Melee users still take 25 % less damage from enemies, as in the original. Evolved melee moves inherit the new numbers.
Late-run readability
- Enemy shields last 7 s, can't be re-applied for 14 s and are capped, so crowds don't turn into unkillable walls.
- Summoners spawn 4 minions per cast, with a per-summoner and a global minion cap.
- Healing stacking is dampened when many healers are on screen.
Fixes & polish
- Gamepad focus and back-button handling fixed across all menus.
- Pixel-font glyph fixes, new app icon, safe-area handling on all screens.
- Rift/arena loading fixed.
- Hundreds of text strings reviewed so nothing is left in the wrong language.
