Draft to Take beta 18 is the current public Docker beta.

Recommended Windows path:

  • Download DraftToTake-Docker-Launcher-v3.0.0-beta.18.zip from the assets below.
  • Extract it somewhere simple, for example C:\DraftToTake.
  • Start Docker Desktop.
  • Run start.bat.

What changed:

  • Adds cleanup-docker-space.bat for removing old Draft to Take beta image tags and dangling Docker layers without deleting %USERPROFILE%\DraftToTake\shared.
  • Improves the launcher helpers with safer .env checks and clearer repair/open/stop behavior.
  • Binds Docker services to 127.0.0.1 by default instead of exposing them on the local network.
  • Hardens backend file-path handling for local audio processing and timeline export paths.
  • Refreshes all public GHCR Docker images as v3.0.0-beta.18 and beta-latest.

Docker space note:

If a previous update appeared to take a lot of disk space, run cleanup-docker-space.bat after confirming beta 18 starts. Docker can keep old image layers from earlier beta tags, and this helper is meant to tidy Draft to Take images without touching projects, voices, models, or generated audio in the shared folder.

Installer note:

The native Windows installer remains experimental while Docker is still the recommended public path. The current launcher ZIP is the safest beta 18 update route.
