Device Tracking

  • Mobile vs Desktop detection - Automatically detect device type from User-Agent
  • Device breakdown section - New statistics panel showing views and clicks by device
  • Percentage display - See what percentage of your audience is on mobile vs desktop
  • Color-coded icons - Purple for mobile, blue for desktop

Technical Details

  • Device detection uses common mobile User-Agent patterns
  • Tablets (iPad, Android tablets) are counted as mobile
  • Database automatically migrates to add device_type column
  • Existing stats default to 'desktop' (no historical device data available)

Screenshots

The statistics section now includes a "Device Breakdown" panel showing:

  • Mobile Views & Desktop Views
  • Mobile Clicks & Desktop Clicks
  • Percentage of total for each metric

Installation

Download simple-linktree.zip and upload to your WordPress/ClassicPress site via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
