Flow and Definitions

The diagram below shows the definitions used for the power- and energy flows between the Solar PV, House, Battery, and Grid. These definitions are used in the naming convention of the custom sensors included in the "Huawei Solar PEES package".

In order to simplify names of the utility meters, sensors have been given a suffix depending on the type of sensor. The name: and the unique_id: of platform sensors, template sensors and template trigger sensors therefor has a suffix as follows,

• (ps) / _ps for platform sensor,
• (ts) / _ts for template sensor and
• (tt) / _tt for template trigger sensor.
