Let's begin with the end in order to address the question - which sensor should you use? The "Huawei Solar PEES package" includes numerous utility meters. It will most likely be these utility meters you would want to use and create references to under most circumstances. There are utility meters for all the energy and economy sensors with cumulative, hourly, daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly results.

💡 There are no utility meters for power sensors and delta economy sensors for obvious reasons.

Naming convention

In order to keep the naming convention of the utility meters as straight forward as possible they have been given the same name as the source sensor, just without the suffix used for the sensors and described in Home / Flow and Definitions. Utility meters with a cycle have however been given a prefix indicating the cycle of the utility meter, hourly_, daily_, monthly_. quarterly_ and yearly_.
