We are pleased to announce the release of Commit Copilot v1.2.0. This update brings significant improvements to our Anthropic integration.

Key Features

Enhanced Anthropic Performance

We have substantially increased the processing capacity for the Anthropic AI provider. The max_tokens limit for message creation has been raised from 32768 to 65536.

This enhancement allows the Large Language Model (LLM) to process and generate responses for much larger git diffs and contexts. This ensures that even your most extensive changes are analyzed accurately, preventing truncation issues and facilitating more comprehensive commit message generation.

New Model Support: Claude Opus 4.6

We are excited to introduce support for the latest Claude Opus 4.6 model. This cutting-edge model offers superior reasoning capabilities and deeper architectural understanding, providing even more precise and context-aware commit suggestions for complex projects.
