Installation

The easiest way to get VioletWing running is to download the pre-built executable. No Python or dependencies required.

Pre-Built Executable (Recommended)

1. Go to the Releases page
2. Download the latest VioletWing.exe
3. Run it - no installer needed

Tip: If Windows Defender or your antivirus flags the executable, this is a false positive common with tools that read process memory. Add an exclusion for the file.

System Requirements

• Operating System - Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
• Game - Counter-Strike 2 (Steam)
• Privileges - Administrator (required to read cs2.exe memory)
• Internet - Required on first launch to download cs2-dumper.exe

First Launch

1. Launch Counter-Strike 2 and load into a match or practice server
2. Right-click VioletWing.exe → Run as administrator
3. VioletWing downloads cs2-dumper.exe and runs it to generate fresh offsets
4. Enable features from the General Settings tab
5. Configure each feature from its dedicated settings tab

Configuration saves to %LOCALAPPDATA%\Requests\ItsJesewe\config.json and reloads automatically on save - no restart needed.

Logs

Application logs are written to:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\VioletWing\logs\violetwing.log

Check here first if something isn't working as expected.
