JustCode 0.2.0

JustCode is a closed-source desktop workspace for running coding agents in separate terminals and git worktrees.

  • Prompt Box: save reminders and future prompts without sending them automatically. Send one prompt or an
ordered selection, or choose a scheduled time. Delivery waits for the selected CLI to be ready and avoids
interrupting its work, answering approval requests or overwriting input. Keep JustCode open and the selected
CLI session running for scheduled delivery. Restarting requires reviewing and selecting a new session.
  • Built-in tools: editor and file explorer, diagnostics, formatting, package management, Run and HTML preview,
git history and agent usage tracking. Other advanced features remain opt-in.
  • Custom setup: guided Windows installation, branded macOS drag-to-Applications setup and offline Linux setup
for AppImage, DEB and RPM. Downloads are available for x64 and ARM64 on all three systems.
  • Safety fixes: linked-project trust checks, file identity handling, package keyboard selection and update
metadata that selects the correct operating system and CPU.

Download assets and SHA256SUMS from this release. Choose the installer matching your system and processor.
JustCode 0.1 installations using the old private download feed may need a manual installation of 0.2.0.

Windows installers are unsigned. The macOS app has an ad-hoc signature and is not notarized: drag it into
Applications, try opening it, then follow Apple's first-open instructions
if macOS blocks it. Ad-hoc macOS updates use manual downloads. Linux setup instructions are included with
the downloads; the helper uses your downloaded files rather than fetching another installer.

Large-project stress benchmarks still exceed their original timing budgets on some native runners. Their
limits and failures remain recorded for follow-up. This release does not claim all performance gates passed.
