Groups and channels

• Manage group or channel: open it from the chat menu or the Manage button in the profile, available to admins.
• Name and description, member permissions by message type (text, photos, videos, stickers and GIFs, music, files, voice and video messages, links, polls and more) and slow mode.
• Administrators: promote members and pick each admin right separately, edit or dismiss existing admins.
• Members, exceptions and removed users: search, restrict, remove from the group, ban with an option to delete all their messages, unban.
• Recent actions: the admin log of the last 48 hours.
• Member tags: set a tag of up to 16 characters in the member card. Tags show next to sender names, purple for the owner, green for admins and neutral for everyone else.

Topics

• Forum groups show topic tabs above the chat with unread counters.
• A topic opens with its own messages and message field.
• New topics can be created right from the tabs, and topics can be turned on or off in Manage group.

Chats

• While someone is typing, a small bubble with three bouncing dots appears under the last message and gives way to their message when it arrives.
