This release contains the complete workbench/scaffolding foundation developed since v0.8.0, not only the AI-context stack entry.
Workbench architecture
- Introduced the canonical preset and feature model with coherent
with/withoutvalidation. - Added isolated workbench runtimes and async command support.
- Added declarative registries for commands, layouts, tools, widgets, and status items.
- Added runtime, feature, preset, persistence, menu, shortcut, notification, and viewport test coverage.
- Added the
technical-ribboncanonical preset and migrated legacy layout compatibility.
Project scaffolding
- Added
generate:projectwith deterministic, atomic project materialization. - Added generators for features, widgets, commands, tools, status items, and presets.
- Added exact naming, CLI, template, overwrite, marker, and dry-run safeguards.
- Added clean-by-default derivatives, optional multi-preset generation, and feature pruning.
- Added scaffolding self-tests and validation tooling.
AI context and documentation
- Added generated AI context from real repository state.
- Added project maps, canonical examples, capsule routing, QA checklist, and scaffolding documentation.
- Added generated context freshness checks and controls catalog discovery.
- Added project stack metadata from
package.json(package manager and dependency versions). - Expanded README, preset, architecture, and contributor guidance.
UI and feature improvements
- Added monitoring and operator workbench improvements and validation.
- Added shared primitive controls and theme-token parity checks.
- Added Ribbon and ToolRail visual dividers and adjusted Ribbon height for clearer shell separation.
- Preserved extensibility boundaries: domain/app code stays in
src/features/**, while core remains feature-agnostic.
Verification
bun run validatepasses: lint, typecheck, tests, architecture/workbench validation, AI-context freshness, and production build.- 225 tests passing.
