☀️ SunEditor v3.0.2

ℹ️ This release supersedes 3.0.0 and 3.0.1.

SunEditor v3 is a full rewrite. The codebase, plugin system, and internal structure have all been rebuilt.

Major Changes

  • Full codebase rewrite with modular plugin system
  • Dropped IE and Legacy Edge support; modern browsers only (Chrome/Edge 119+, Firefox 121+, Safari 17.2+)
  • Theme support (dark, cobalt, cream, midnight) with CSS custom properties
  • Increase default editor font size from 13px to 16px
  • Increase UI font sizes: main 13→14px, button 12→14px, statusbar 10→12px

  • IE11 and Legacy Edge are no longer supported
