Repository navigation
Accessibility and skipping, from community feedback.
- Reduce Transparency. With it on, the mark rests on a solid surface instead of frosted glass, every page shows one solid colour instead of its light or picture, and the buttons are opaque. Each colour keeps a contrast of at least 7:1 with the white text. It works alone and together with Reduce Motion.
- Skip button. A Skip button shows in the corner while the welcome plays, on iOS and macOS, not only Escape on a Mac.
showsSkipButton: falsehides it;skipButtonrelabels it. VoiceOver's escape gesture skips too. - Skipping and interruptions, defined. Playing the welcome through or skipping it records it as seen. Quitting the app mid-welcome doesn't: it plays again at the next launch. The README's "Skipping and interruptions" table has every case.
- Closing a window mid-intro. On macOS, the next window to open now plays the intro from the start.
- No hang in the background. The launch no longer waits forever on an animation that doesn't report finishing while the app is in the background.
- Documentation. New guides: SwiftUI and Metal, Testing on Devices, and Making the Preview Video. The bug report is now a form.
New options are additive with defaults; existing code compiles unchanged.
