The first release of LaunchGrid: the full-screen Launchpad you remember, for macOS 26 (and macOS 14 or later).

Install: download LaunchGrid-0.1.0.dmg, open it, drag LaunchGrid into Applications, and open it. The app is signed
with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

Features

  • Full-screen grid over a blurred wallpaper, with pages, page dots, trackpad swipe, mouse wheel and keyboard navigation
  • Drag to rearrange; hold at the screen edge to change pages
  • Folders: drop one app onto another, rename them, drag apps out
  • Search as you type, with initials (vsc) and pinyin for Chinese app names (wx → 微信)
  • ⌘-click multi-select: drag several apps together, group them into a folder, or hide them
  • Open with ⇧⌘Space (changeable), the Dock icon, the menu bar, a hot corner, or a trackpad pinch
  • Uninstall to the Trash (hold ⌥), with a list of leftover files in ~/Library
  • Import your old Launchpad pages and folders from before macOS 26
  • Launch at login; grid sizes from 7×5 to 10×6

No network access and no telemetry. GPL-3.0.
