此前 README、使用手册和发布说明里都写着"支持 Civil 3D 2024 / 2025 / 2026"。
这是错误的陈述 —— 本插件实际并不支持 Civil 3D 2024。 对不起，是我们的疏忽，给装了 2024 的朋友添麻烦了。

实际情况

• 插件是 .NET 8 构建（net8.0-windows），而 Civil 3D 2024 运行在 .NET Framework 4.8 上 —— 两者不兼容。在 2024 里插件根本无法加载（不是"不稳定"，是加载不了，面板不会出现）。
• 受支持的版本是 Civil 3D 2025 / 2026。 插件包 PackageContents.xml 声明的适用系列为 R25.0 ~ R25.1。
• 作者本人一直用的是 Civil 3D 2025：全部 417 个方法、土方与几何算法都是在 2025 上逐条实测出来的。2026 沿用同一条 .NET 8 + R25 API 技术线，理论兼容，但我们尚未在 2026 上逐项实测。

本次修复

• 文档全部更正：README / README_EN / 使用手册 / 安装脚本提示，统一写明"支持 Civil 3D 2025 / 2026，2024 不兼容"。
• 插件包元数据版本号修复：此前 bundle 里的 PackageContents.xml 版本号一直停留在 1.6.2（商店信息会显示错误版本）→ 现在由构建脚本按 package.json 自动注入。
• 安装向导多版本识别改进：机器同时装了多个版本时，优先识别 2025/2026（旧逻辑按注册表键序遍历会误选 2024）；若只检测到 2024 及更早版本，会明确提示"不受支持"，不再让你装完发现用不了。

Apology first

Our README, user guide and release notes previously said "supports Civil 3D 2024 / 2025 / 2026".
That was wrong — this plugin does not support Civil 3D 2024. Sorry for the mistake, and sorry to anyone who installed it on 2024.

The facts

• The plugin is built for .NET 8 (net8.0-windows), while Civil 3D 2024 runs on .NET Framework 4.8 — incompatible. On 2024 the plugin cannot load at all (it is not "unstable"; the palette simply never appears).
• Supported: Civil 3D 2025 (and 2026). The bundle's PackageContents.xml declares the series R25.0 ~ R25.1.
• The author has always used Civil 3D 2025 — all 417 methods and the earthwork/geometry algorithms were verified on 2025. 2026 shares the same .NET 8 + R25 API line and should work, but we have not tested it item by item yet.

What this release fixes

• Docs corrected everywhere (README / README_EN / user guide / installer prompts): 2025 / 2026 supported, 2024 not.
• Bundle metadata version fixed: PackageContents.xml had been stuck at 1.6.2 (store listing would show a wrong version) → it is now injected from package.json at build time.
• Installer multi-version detection improved: with several versions installed it now prefers 2025/2026 (the old registry-key order could pick 2024), and if only 2024 or older is found it says so explicitly instead of letting you install something that will not load.

1. 决策链可验证（做了什么都可查、可回放、可断言）

• 结构化操作日志：每个请求一行 JSONL（方法 / 结果 / 耗时 / 图纸 / 结果指纹 / 参数），readTrace、traceStats 查询；排障直接给真实异常（此前对外只有一句 "unexpected error"）
• 回放器 tools/replay.js：逐条重放并对比 —— 只读方法结果漂移 = 失败；变更类方法 = 正常差异；错误条目比错误码
• 断言 assertChecks：图元存在 / 计数（支持 eq·ge·le·gt·lt）/ 图层存在 / 字段值（长度·面积·半径·顶点数，带容差）/ 曲面已构建；批量落地自动附"每层数量 ≥ 本次创建数"自检

2. 大图纸上下文（不把上下文塞爆）

• summarizeDrawing：图层维度 + 空间网格 + 全局计数的预算化画像，输出字节数被硬约束（实测 1.5 万实体摘要约 3 KB）
• 大结果自动降级：超过阈值改成"保持原结构的裁剪"（数组截断成前缀 + _summarized 说明），需要全量时加 fullResult:true

3. 土方专项（Civil 3D）

• 廊道土方 computeCorridorEarthwork：网格 + 桩号归属，逐桩号给出挖填方；实测与 C3D 曲面体积法偏差 0.14%（填 0.08%）
• 放坡优化 optimizeGrading：给坡率上限、平台标高、挡墙/台阶（walls）与可选土方平衡，自动生成满足约束的设计面并落成 TIN 曲面；实测与 C3D 体积法偏差 0.9%；约束不可满足时会如实报错并给出建议
• 场地调配 computeSiteMassHaul：两张曲面 → 逐桩挖填 → 调配方案（平衡区间、就近配对、免费/超运距、弃方/借方）

修复与补漏（批次 0）

• 新增 createEllipse（走真 API）
• 廊道再生护栏：廊道写操作等待内部再生完成，不再"假失败"（实测：探测间隔 5 秒 → 再生被饿死、300 秒未完；30 秒 → 约 60 秒建好）
• 曲面算量健壮化：支持网格法兜底；发现并采用 C3D 内置"廊道曲面烘焙"，算量链路自动烘焙后走精确体积曲面；netVolume 口径统一为 填−挖
• 几何级编辑：trimEntityGeo（真交点打断）/ extendEntityGeo（真延伸）/ overkillGeo（几何指纹去重）

已知限制（诚实版）

• 放坡优化定位为初稿设计面生成器：排水最小坡度用平台预倾斜表达，挡墙/台阶用 walls 声明；多级挡墙、管线避让等复杂约束仍需人工复核
• 廊道再生类操作本身较慢（30 秒 ~ 10 分钟），期间其它请求短暂排队（会自动恢复）

1. Verifiable action log (what the AI did, replayable and assertable)

• Structured operation log: one JSONL line per request (method / result / duration / drawing / result digest / parameters), queried via readTrace and traceStats. Troubleshooting now yields the real exception instead of a bare "unexpected error"
• Replayer tools/replay.js: replays each call and diffs it — read-only drift = failure, mutating calls = expected difference, errors compared by error code
• Assertions assertChecks: entity exists / entity count (eq, ge, le, gt, lt) / layer exists / field values (length, area, radius, vertex count, with tolerance) / surface built. Batch drawing operations now carry a built-in "entities on layer ≥ created" self-check

2. Large-drawing context (without blowing up the context window)

• summarizeDrawing: a budget-capped summary across layers, a spatial grid and global counts — output size is a hard constraint (a 15k-entity drawing summarises to ~3 KB)
• Automatic downgrade of oversized results: instead of truncating, the payload keeps its shape (arrays trimmed to a prefix plus a _summarized note); use fullResult:true for everything

3. Earthwork toolkit (Civil 3D)

• Corridor earthwork computeCorridorEarthwork: grid + station banding with per-station cut/fill; measured 0.14% off Civil 3D's surface-volume method (0.08% on fill)
• Grading optimisation optimizeGrading: supply a max slope, platform levels, retaining walls/steps (walls) and optional cut/fill balance; it generates a design surface that satisfies the constraints and builds it as a TIN. Measured 0.9% off Civil 3D's volume method. When constraints are unsatisfiable it says so honestly, with a suggestion
• Site mass haul computeSiteMassHaul: two surfaces → per-station cut/fill → a haul plan (balanced sections, nearest pairing, free vs overhaul haul, waste/borrow)

Fixes and gap-filling (batch 0)

• Added createEllipse (real API path)
• Corridor regeneration guard: corridor write operations now wait for the internal regeneration instead of "failing" spuriously (measured: probing every 5 s starves regeneration, still unfinished after 300 s; 30 s probing finishes in ~60 s)
• Robust surface volumes: grid-method fallback; discovered and adopted Civil 3D's built-in "bake corridor surface", so the volume path bakes automatically and uses exact volume surfaces; netVolume convention unified as fill − cut
• Geometry-level editing: trimEntityGeo (true intersection split), extendEntityGeo (true extension), overkillGeo (geometry-fingerprint de-duplication)

Known limitations (honest version)

• Grading optimisation is a preliminary design-surface generator: minimum drainage slope is expressed as a platform tilt, retaining walls/steps via walls; multi-tier walls and utility conflicts still need human review
• Corridor regeneration is inherently slow (30 s – 10 min) and briefly queues other requests (recovers automatically)

• Hatch (fills) — the AI can now create, batch-create and edit hatches:
  • single loop, multiple loops with islands (holes), pattern fills (SOLID / ANSI31 / …), two-color gradients (LINEAR / CYLINDER / SPHERICAL / HEMISPHERICAL / CURVED / …)
  • pattern scale, angle, color, layer, island style, associativity and origin are all adjustable; the boundary can be replaced wholesale when editing
  • hatches can be selected (type HATCH), measured (area) and read back in full (pattern / scale / angle / island style / area / loop count / gradient name and stop colors)
• Fills straight from tracing: traceImage gained a fill parameter — flat illustrations and color-block images can be drawn into CAD as filled, colored areas (a cartoon wallpaper becomes a set of colored patches).

Fixes

• Per-item color was being silently dropped: when batch-drawing vector paths, the color carried by each path (every color block of a traced image) was never written to CAD — colors now take effect (both RGB and ACI-index forms accepted).
• Tracing threshold parameter inkGamma (default unchanged; 0.5 gives cleaner white-background line art).
• Panel assistant SOP: documents the new fill capability.

• 描摹质量大幅提升（约 3~4 倍）：修复「把图片描进 CAD 出来一堆碎块」的问题。根因是抓线用的边缘检测对带网点的扫描件/插画会产生大量碎片；现在白底线稿/扫描件会自动改用墨迹阈值抓线。实测（794×1280 网点漫画）：墨迹覆盖 17.6% → 52.9%、线条命中率 18.0% → 78.3%
• 自动选型更准：不指定模式时 —— 扁平/纯色插画 → 色块区域；白底线稿/扫描件（含实心黑块）→ 外轮廓（实测比中心线更像原画）；其余 → 圆弧拟合

Fixes / improvements

• Tracing quality roughly 3–4x better: fixes "the image traces into CAD as a heap of fragments". The root cause was the edge-detection mask — on halftone scans / illustrations it produced thousands of fragments. White-background line art and scans now switch to an ink threshold automatically. Measured (794x1280 halftone manga): ink coverage 17.6% → 52.9%, line-on-ink hit rate 18.0% → 78.3%.
• Smarter auto mode: with no mode given — flat / solid-color art → color regions; white-background line art / scans (with solid blacks) → outline (measurably closer to the original than centerlines); everything else → arc fitting.
• Adaptive length filter: the threshold is set at 5% of the image width (12–80 px), so large images don't lose real content and small ones don't turn to mush.
• New optional cleanup parameters open (despeckle) and fill (hole filling), off by default — they can drop thin lines and interior detail.
• Panel assistant hardened: (1) it may no longer claim "the plugin doesn't support X" without checking the live method list first; (2) before re-tracing it cleans up its own previous layer instead of asking you to delete it by hand.
• Fixed the stale version in the Autoloader manifest (PackageContents.xml 1.5.1 → 1.6.1).

New in this release

• Bitmap -> CAD vector lines (tracing): pick an image with the panel's "Upload file" button and say "draw it into CAD". Four modes — color regions (best for flat / solid-color art, cartoons, logos, vector wallpapers: fewest lines, best look), arc fitting (line art / hand-drawn / photos), skeleton centerlines (easy to keep editing), outline (preserves stroke width). Leave the mode empty and it auto-detects the image type. Measured: a 1920x1080 cartoon wallpaper comes out as 6 contours, 0.5 s end-to-end (the old pipeline produced 83 fragmented lines for the same image).
• "Upload file" button in the palette: no clipboard-image support by design — pick local file(s), the path is dropped into the input box, add a note and send. The AI reads them itself (images can be traced; documents — Word / Excel / PowerPoint / text — are parsed directly).
• Chat history persisted (per scope): panel conversations are saved per day (global exchange\panel-chat-<date>.jsonl; project mode stores them inside the project folder) and survive restarts. "Clear chat" really deletes the current scope (with a confirmation); "Clear project" also removes that project's records.
• AI sessions isolated by scope: panel memory is kept separately for "global" and each project — selecting a project no longer mixes contexts, and it resumes after a restart.
• Image -> CAD triage flow: when the image has dimensions, the AI no longer traces pixels — it first lists a dimension table, self-checks the dimension chain (segments sum to the total), asks about anything uncertain, draws to real size, then reads it back to verify. When there are no dimensions at all it asks exactly once: "is there any length you know?" — it never guesses.
• Batch performance: importVectorPaths draws hundreds of polylines in a single transaction (524 in 0.16 s — 57x faster than one-by-one); exportImageGray extends tracing to JPEG / GIF / TIFF (previously PNG / BMP only).

本版修复

• 修复：给廊道加曲面会把 AutoCAD 卡住（算量刚需功能） —— 此前该操作会让 CAD 无响应 3~6 分钟，而且约一半概率回报"失败"（其实曲面已经生成好了，AI 会被误导去重试）。根因是这类"内部重建"操作在 AutoCAD 的命令上下文里会被严重节流。改为在空闲时机执行后，提交耗时从 215 秒降到 0.06 秒。现在默认会等曲面真正生成完成再返回（实测约 90 秒），返回即可直接算量。
• 修复：外部脚本的语言现在跟随面板 —— 端口检测、端口配置、清理脚本会读取界面语言设置；面板切成英文后，这些脚本的输出也是英文。
• 修复：端口检测结论误判 —— 检测脚本的结论判断有一处类型转换问题，可能一直误报"C3D 未开"。已修，现在能正确报"全部正常"。

• Fixed: adding a corridor surface could freeze AutoCAD (needed for quantity take-off) - the operation left CAD unresponsive for 3-6 minutes, and about half the time reported "failed" even though the surface HAD been created (which sent the AI chasing a phantom error). Root cause: this kind of internal regeneration is heavily throttled while running inside AutoCAD's command context. Running it at idle time brought the commit down from 215 seconds to 0.06 seconds. It now waits until the surface is genuinely finished (about 90 s in our tests) and returns only when it is ready to use.
• Fixed: external scripts now follow the palette language - the port check, port config and cleanup scripts read the UI language setting; switch the palette to English and their output is English too.
• Fixed: port check verdict was misreported - a type-conversion issue in the verdict logic could always report "C3D is not running". Fixed - it now correctly reports "all good".

Fixes since the 2026-09-14 build

• Fixed: path resolution inside the Autoloader bundle - all four plugin-side root lookups now use probe-based detection. In the .bundle install the palette's "Ports -> Open Setup Wizard" did nothing, locale/port settings fell back to defaults, and the selection snapshot was written one level above the bundle. Both bundle and extracted layouts now resolve correctly.
• Fixed: reading an image blew up the context budget - image base64 was counted as text against the context limit, so image tasks aborted immediately (and the image never actually reached the model). Images are now bounded separately and sent once, so the vision channel really works.
• Improved: no more silent failures - missing config now shows a clear message including the folders searched; port-diagnostics errors are logged.

我是中国开发者，写这个插件的时候满脑子都是中文用户怎么用，压根没想起"语言"这回事。直到有人在安装包里选了 English，装完发现界面还是全中文——我才意识到这是个问题。

这个版本把它补上了：安装向导里选什么语言，装完就是什么语言；装完之后，面板里也能随时切。

A note from the author

I'm a Chinese developer. When I built this plugin my head was entirely in "how will Chinese users use it" — it genuinely never crossed my mind that language was even a thing. Then someone picked English in the installer, and got a fully Chinese UI. That's how I found out.

This release fixes it: whatever language you choose in the setup wizard is the language you get — and you can switch it any time from inside the panel.

Highlights: bilingual UI (Chinese / English)

• Switch the panel between Chinese and English — new "Language" dropdown in the config area
  (Automatic (follow system) / 中文 / English). Takes effect immediately and is remembered.
• The installer language carries through — pick English in the setup wizard and the plugin ships in English (and vice versa).
• Covers the panel, the port-status dialog and status messages. The locale field in config.json can be set by hand.
• The UI currently ships in Chinese and English only (no third language).
• "Automatic" rule: Chinese system → Chinese; any other language → English.
• Fixed: after switching language, the "Provider" and "Project" dropdowns came up empty.
