Immutable release. Only release title and notes can be modified.

Use your Joy-Con 2 as a mouse and keyboard, pick your output from one simple card, and map buttons by pressing them. Run Set up again to apply them.

What's new

  • A Joy-Con 2 works as a mouse. Stand it on its rail on a flat surface and it moves the pointer, with clicks and scroll from your mapping.
  • Buttons can press keyboard keys and mouse clicks. Each player's mapping has Keyboard and Mouse sections, and a stick can walk on WASD, for PC games under Winlator and the like.
  • One Output card runs everything. Pick Virtual gamepad, Motion (DSU) or Mouse & keys, choose your emulator, and the app starts what that needs.
  • Map a button by pressing it. Tap a row, then press the button or push the stick you want; Choose from list binds several at once.
  • Choose your Wii controller. Each player picks Wiimote, Sideways or Classic, and Classic keeps the remote's pointer and motion.
  • New Mouse & keys layouts. WASD + Mouse for games, Mouse only for clicks and scroll, on a pair or a single Joy-Con.
  • Layouts apply cleanly. Picking a layout sets exactly its own bindings, with nothing left over from before.
  • Clearer mapping screen. Each section sits on its own panel and folds away, and the app warns when a controller can't move the pointer.

Notes

  • SYNC is required for every connection. Switch 2's button-press reconnect is console-exclusive at the link layer and can't be reproduced through Android's BLE API.
  • Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo. The BLE protocol was reverse-engineered by the community; this project contains no Nintendo code. See the credits.
