Meet rust-space-cleaner: a cache hunter that shows every gigabyte of junk hiding on your disk and lets you reclaim it safely.

What's new: a declarative registry hunting 24 sources of disk junk across Dev, Games, Web, System and Tools — cargo targets, Steam shader caches, npm/pnpm/yarn, Docker dangling images, systemd journal, flatpak, trash and more.

Safety first: dry-run by default, explicit whitelist (never $HOME, never whole containers), per-source confirmation, every deletion logged to clean.log.

  • ratatui TUI with live per-source progress and dup badges
  • 41 tests green, clippy -D warnings, rustfmt clean
  • Binaries: Linux (x86_64, aarch64), macOS, Windows
cargo install rust-space-cleaner
# Arch (AUR): yay -S rust-space-cleaner

Star it if it saves your disk 🚀
