Veqtor v0.1.2 Alpha
Veqtor v0.1.2 is a public-Alpha hardening release for external installation
and bounded local DOCX processing.
Highlights:
- one-line, version-pinned Claude Code registration through PyPI and
uvx; - MCP initialization reports the Veqtor product version;
- one shared fail-closed DOCX boundary that accepts only unencrypted
STORED/DEFLATEDZIP members, reconciles security-relevant local, central
and descriptor fields, and bounds actual expansion while verifying CRC and
DEFLATE end-of-stream; - bounded parsed XML elements, extracted change units, atomic edit batches and
round-folder scans with a cumulative actual expanded member-output budget
that also charges packages rejected after member-output processing; XML
parsing refuses DTDs, custom entity expansion and unbounded numbering labels; - raised safe minimum dependency versions;
- clearer Claude scopes, support expectations, security reporting and public
product identity; - the protected exact tag is durably reserved first; the same approved wheel
and sdist are then published to PyPI through OIDC Trusted Publishing and
publicly verified before the matching GitHub Release becomes immutable.
Veqtor remains a local, community-supported technical Alpha for macOS and
Linux with Python 3.12-3.14. It is not legal advice, a hosted service, a full
Word editor or a tamper-evident audit system. Review the
known limitations
before using it on a real matter.
Veqtor v0.1.1 Alpha
Veqtor v0.1.1 is an Alpha reliability update for local DOCX negotiation
workflows.
This release makes decision-record export semantics self-describing: the live
response now distinguishes substantive compact records, locally written access
events and the snapshot used by each count. The installed-wheel and manual
Claude Desktop gates both exercise two consecutive exports. A closed,
path-free acceptance packet binds both live gates and their runtime identities
to the exact promoted source tree and seals its canonical bytes with an
explicitly approved SHA-256.
Release promotion now recovers interrupted drafts through authenticated release
listing and release-id operations, while failing closed on an ambiguous tag or
unexpected asset state. Documentation also clarifies reinstate behavior,
compact clause-label digests and provenance side effects of read-only calls.
This remains a local technical Alpha, not a hosted service, legal-advice system,
general-purpose Word editor or tamper-evident audit log. Review the
known limitations
before using it on a matter. Keep source documents and raw .veqtor journals
private.
Veqtor v0.1.0 Alpha
Veqtor v0.1.0 is a local technical Alpha for early adopters working with DOCX
negotiation history. It can extract and verify tracked changes, dry-run explicit
counter-edits, write supported edits as tracked changes, and retain local
decision provenance.
This is not a hosted service, legal-advice system, general-purpose Word editor
or tamper-evident audit log. Review the
known limitations
before using it on a matter. Keep source documents and raw .veqtor journals
private.
