Rolls up the 1.0.4 and 1.1.0 work from a single sprint.
A big artwork-and-presentation release: four ways to draw every game icon, PSP-style ICON1 video snaps, a full-screen Artwork Studio, and a portable, ES-DE-compatible media library you own. Plus a new adaptive layout so the XMB fits foldables and tablets — and a live editor to place it exactly where you want.
New Features
Game icons & presentation
- Icon Display Modes — draw every game tile as Custom Icon (PSP 144:80 ICON0), Box Art, Physical Media (cartridge/disc), or 3D Box Art. Set a global default, per memory-card, or per game; each mode has its own placeholder when art is missing. Box art now lives in the ES-DE
covers/folder and 144:80 icons in a privatepfp/icon0/namespace — existing libraries migrate automatically. - ICON1 video snaps — resting on a game (~1.5 s) plays its video snap inside the icon, muted, capped at 60 s, then fades back to the still. Battery-conscious: one shared player, skipped under Battery Saver / low battery / thermal pressure, with an Animated Icons master toggle. If only the full video exists, PFP trims it locally (60 s, icon-sized, audio stripped) and never stores the full file.
- PIC0 logo choreography — the focused game's clear logo fades in center-right on the authentic PSP stagger; game rows are icon-first.
Artwork Studio
- Full-screen, controller-first Artwork Studio (from Game Detail) with a tab per artwork kind — ICON0, ICON1, Box Art, 3D Box, Physical Media, Hero, Background, Logo, Screenshot, Manual, Video — sourcing from ScreenScraper, SteamGridDB (with an NSFW toggle), TheGamesDB, IGDB, and Local File. Preview before applying (video tiles play a muted loop; manuals page through), with a per-slot actions menu (Adjust Crop, Restore Previous, Reset to Scraped, Clear, File Info).
- Crop / position editor — aspect-locked frame per kind, pan/zoom behind it; crops bake into the file while the original is kept for lossless re-crops (ICON1 clips re-encode, not flatten).
- Scrape-as-you-go — browsing a never-scraped game in the Studio triggers one live match and caches it, so later scrapes are cache hits. Xbox 360, C64, Android and Windows now resolve to their ScreenScraper systems.
Portable media library & ES-DE import
- User-owned artwork folder (SAF, no all-files permission) in an ES-DE
downloaded_medialayout, so other frontends can read it with no export step. Scraped and hand-picked artwork lands here too; hand-picked art is locked so nothing automatic overwrites it. - ES-DE artwork +
gamelist.xmlimport — drop another launcher's media/metadata in and PFP matches it to your games in multiple passes (with review for ambiguities), previews the run, and imports in a background worker with notification progress. Move mode transfers same-volume files without copying bytes. - Scan & Relink, Export for ES-DE, and Move Into Folder round out managing the library; a linked folder is adopted in place, zero bytes copied.
Game Detail & launching
- Game Detail upgrades — a Launch button plus Video / Options / Artwork / Manual, a Screenshot panel, publisher and total play time, and full D-pad scrolling. In-app PDF manual viewer (D-pad pages/scrolls, no external app).
- Launch Games Directly — confirm on a game boots straight into it, with View Game Details on the game's menu for edits.
Adaptive layout (new in 1.1.0)
- Fits foldables and tablets — the interface now scales to fit near-square inner displays instead of ballooning, and a live "Adjust XMB Layout" editor lets you scale and reposition the crossbar over the running XMB with the D-pad/shoulder buttons or on-screen sliders. Each screen size remembers its own tuning, so a handheld and a foldable never fight over one layout.
- Wide-screen drill view — drilling into a games list slides the console cross to the left edge and hands the center-right to the game cards, artwork and logo.
Diagnostics
- Settings ▸ Logs — rotating INFO+ log files with privacy-first redaction at write time (credentials, tokens, account names, emails never hit disk), viewable in-app and shareable for bug reports.

Bug Fixes

- XMB no longer over-scales on foldables — bounded by width as well as height; 16:9 handhelds/tablets are unchanged.
- Reliable Studio video previews (stream-then-cache), correct video-snap saving to the portable library,
content://artwork validity handling, serialized folder creation, and multi-row disc-game artwork sharing.
Upgrade Notes
- No breaking changes; drop-in over 1.0.4. Several database migrations (v25–v29) and artwork-folder layout upgrades run automatically (same-volume moves, no bytes copied).
- Removed: Display ▸ Icon Style and Artwork ▸ Preferred Grid Style (superseded), the old in-detail artwork manager (replaced by Artwork Studio), and the fixed XMB Scale / Bar Height rows (replaced by the live editor — your old values carry over as its starting point).
- Lite edition ships without the Discord SDK for a smaller download and omits the Social section.
