InniClassic 20261012

• Added Jellyfin sync so you can download music and videos directly from your Jellyfin server over Wi-Fi. You can sign in using QuickConnect (with an on-screen pairing code), username and password, or an API token, then sync all libraries or browse and pick specific folders. Sync options let you download album artwork, transcode videos for playback on the player, and remove local files that were deleted on the server, followed by an automatic library rescan when downloads finish.
• Fixed four Bluetooth issues on the Y2:
  • Toggling Bluetooth on now starts the MediaTek Bluetooth daemon (mtkbt) automatically (and starts it at boot in the ROM), fixing the bug where Bluetooth refused to turn back on or reconnect to paired headphones after being turned off.
  • Turning Bluetooth off now stays off across reboots instead of turning itself back on at startup.
  • "Delete Device" now verifies that unpairing succeeded before showing a confirmation message and refreshes the paired list cleanly.
  • "Connect Audio" and "Delete Device" options are now visually indented beneath the selected device row.

InniClassic 20261011

• The About screen now uses a scrollable two-column iPod Classic layout showing song, video, album, and artist counts, software version, model number, and separate capacity and free space rows for both internal flash and the microSD card.
• A new "Battery Percentage" setting draws the exact percentage and a compact charging bolt inside the battery icon, with contrasting text colors across the filled and empty parts of the indicator.
• Genre browsing now follows the classic iPod hierarchy (Genre -> Artists / All Songs -> Albums / All Songs -> Songs), and song lists have a Shuffle banner with a song counter at the top. Returning from Now Playing also highlights the playing track, fast scrolling no longer crashes on lists with header rows, and the wheel no longer gets stuck at list edges.
• FM Radio now remembers your last tuned frequency and saved station presets across restarts, tunes smoothly with the wheel without screen flicker, supports hardware station seek, and routes audio directly to the 3.5mm headphone jack after pausing any playing music.
• Factory OEM demo tracks in custom_media (such as Despacito and Panama) are no longer scanned, and an automatic cleanup migration removes them from existing libraries while stripping them from newly built ROMs.
• Both button presses and touch events now reset the screen backlight sleep timer, and the screen stays awake automatically during library scans, radio scans, podcast downloads, video playback, and USB storage mode.

InniClassic 20261008

• The in-app Software Update screen now shows clearer status feedback, waits automatically while Wi-Fi finishes connecting, and lets you reinstall the current build if you are already up to date.
• Over-the-air updates now install properly when InniClassic runs as a system ROM app (/system/app) by copying the new APK into /system/app and rebooting. Version checks also handle same-day revision tags (YYYYMMDD-vN).
• Status bar icons are darker on the light theme so they stay readable against the silver bar, and the Wi-Fi indicator now uses a sharper Tabler icon.

• Fixed a bug where tracks with the same title across different albums (such as live recordings, greatest hits, or deluxe editions) were treated as duplicates and hidden from your library except for the single highest-bitrate copy.
• Added an automatic versioned migration system that runs an incremental media scan on first launch after updating, restoring any previously skipped songs to your albums without resetting your existing library cache.

InniClassic 20261006

• Added native USB Mass Storage support for the microSD card when plugging the player into a computer. A prompt asks whether to "Connect as Storage" or "Charge Only" (which can be toggled under Settings -> Ask on USB Connect). While connected, the player shows an iPod-style "Connected - Eject before disconnecting" screen where pressing Center safely ejects the drive and automatically rescans your library for newly added music.
• Translated the new keyboard settings, "Add to Favorites", equalizer headers, screen recorder prompts, and error toasts across all 7 supported languages, and replaced leftover Korean internal keys in the screen recorder menus with English text.

InniClassic 20261001

• Volume now uses a 30-step virtual scale with an iPod-style overlay across all screens instead of the stock Android popup. It works across music, video playback, FM radio, and Music Quiz, and includes six extra-quiet digital sub-steps at the bottom of the scale (down to -28 dBFS) for sensitive earphones.
• A full QWERTY on-screen keyboard is now available in Settings alongside the original grid layout. It includes a symbol layer, column memory when moving vertically across the spacebar, lighter 10ms key vibration, and full punctuation (; : , / \ ( ) [ ] { } < > ' ~ \`` and |`) for Wi-Fi passwords and search queries.
• Cover Flow and album lists use a 9-slot buffered layout and a 256x256 disk and RAM thumbnail cache (.y1_thumbs_cache), eliminating card pop-in and lag when spinning the wheel fast or reversing direction.
• Holding the Center button for 0.8 seconds now locks all buttons and turns the screen off (Hold mode, from upstream 1.4.4). Hold Center again to unlock.
• On Now Playing, wheel seeking previews the target time in 5-second steps until you press Center to jump, and pausing in the Classic theme keeps album art bright while remembering your active bottom bar mode. Starting a video also pauses active music so the Play/Pause button controls the video.
• Custom themes no longer reset to the default theme after unplugging from USB Mass Storage because the selected theme is now saved by name instead of folder scan order. Newly created .scrobbler.log files also declare #TZ/UTC so scrobble importers read their timestamps as UTC.

• Muted wheel clicks, system touch sounds, and vibration when the screen is off and "Screen Off Control" is disabled in Settings. InniClassic 20260928

• The Y2 headphone volume curve in libaudiocustparam.so is tuned lower at the bottom of the range, so sensitive earphones can be used comfortably in quiet rooms where step 1 was previously too loud.
• Over-the-air (OTA) updates now download directly from GitHub Releases (update.json) using OkHttp, which follows GitHub redirects reliably and checks the downloaded file size before installing.
• In Music Quiz, the visual album cover round now sizes tiles properly on the Y2 screen and extracts artwork from .m4a/ALAC files, manual cover files, and scaled folder images without running out of memory.
